Who is FabricManipulation.com?

FabricManipulation.com is a company started by Lynetta Welch; Lynetta has over thirty years of professional experience performing and creating magic.

Is it safe to use a credit card?

Yes! All order transactions and information are secure. Our software will encrypt your information so it can safely send it to us for processing. The closed lock in the lower right hand corner of the payment page will confirm that you are using a secure web page to transfer your information.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept American Express, Visa, Master Card, Cashier's Checks, Money Orders and Personal Checks. Please note if you send us a personal check, your order will be delayed by 14 days. Your personal check must clear before we ship your order. It is recommended for expedited orders, that a credit card be used. This will ensure a prompt delivery of products as long as they are in stock.

Do you have a privacy policy?

Yes. We are in the business of selling magic effects and apparatus, not names and personal information. We hate to be spammed too.

Do you have a guarantee?

Yes. If within fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt of merchandise, you find that the product is not suitable for your particular needs, you may return it for exchange, credit, or refund, less our shipping costs. The item returned must be in new condition, returned with all its packaging, instructions, etc. and received by us in such a condition that would allow us to resell it as new. Fabric Manipulation must issue a return authorization number before the return of any item. Contact Fabric Manipulation by phone or email to receive your RMA number. All unauthorized returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Returned items must be inspected by Fabric Manipulation and meet the criteria listed above before any refunds will be issued.

SHIPPING

Do you ship internationally?

We do offer International shipments; there is no problem ordering from any part of the world. For international orders, we accept International Money Orders, as well as American Express, Visa and MasterCard. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout.


How does shipping work for custom installed topits?

We charge $14.95 shipping, handling and insurance for topit orders return shipped within the USA; all topit orders are insured for the value of the jacket, including the cost of the topit. If you send us a jacket that has an original value over $400.00, additional insurance charges will be applied. It is the customer's responsibility when sending their jacket to state the value. This will enable us to place the correct amount of insurance on your jacket when we return shipment. After we install your topit, we will send the jacket back to you via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail.
NOTE: You cover the cost of shipping + any insurance for your jacket when you originally ship to us.

When can I expect my order to be shipped?

Our products have earned their reputation for quality because they are created with the professional working magician in mind. We take pride in every item we make. All of our products are handmade in the United States, one at a time and most all are made upon ordering. We do our best to deliver products in a timely manner, however, due to the amount of time that we put into each and every product, we ask that you please give us 2 - 6 weeks to ship your items. If you are in a rush, please contact us directly and we will let you know if your products can be shipped sooner.

How do I return merchandise for a refund?

Contact Fabric Manipulation for a return authorization number. Ship merchandise to Fabric Manipulation via the courier of your choice. All return shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility and Fabric Manipulation will not accept responsibility for returned items not received by us, or items that are delivered damaged. Fabric Manipulation covers shipping charges on replacement items. If you fail to contact Fabric Manipulation prior to returning the product, a 15% restocking fee may be applied.

ORDERING

Do you have a catalog?

Not at this time; but check back. As our product line grows, we will put out a catalog.

What about sales tax?

Until the government imposes an Internet sales tax, we only charge tax on orders shipped within the state of Nevada. If your order is shipped within Nevada, you will be charged sales tax based on your local tax rate.

The state of Nevada Board of Equalization requires that sales tax(s) be applied to all items unless Fabric Manipulation has a signed resale card on file from you. Until we have a signed card, we must charge you tax.

Can you customize any of your products?

The only item that we currently customize is our Custom Installed Topit and on the topit, we only customize the fabric color.

How can I verify the status of my order?

We will notify you via email once your order has been shipped. After an order leaves our hands, we have no way of knowing its status. If you request that an order be shipped via FedEx, we will email your tracking order number and you may track your order on the FedEx website.

Do you have a minimum order?

No. Customers should not feel obligated to order more than what they want and need.

Do you have distributor or wholesale pricing?

Yes, we offer wholesale pricing to select magic retailers. All wholesale inquiries should be directed to Lynetta Welch. You can email her by clicking here.

Is Internet ordering any different than ordering on the phone?

Your order will be processed with the same speed no matter how you order it.

What are your hours?

Our business hours are 9am – 6pm Pacific Standard Time Monday – Friday. However, there is a chance you will catch us here beyond those times. You can order on line and email us 24 hours a day.
