According to Walter Gibson in his book, Magic Made Simple, ...”The term Hoo in magician’s parlance is short for hook”. Most magicians are familiar with Hoo or hook coins – The Hoo Disk is a 3/8” disk that attaches to any coin (even a borrowed or signed coin), turning it instantly into a hook coin. With the Hoo Disk attached, the coin can be made to vanish and reappear in a most astounding fashion. The Hoo Disk can also be used on cards and other items; the possibilities are limitless.
